The admins have left the basic guidelines of the website (general information & claims) visible so guests can view this information and decide if ROH is a good fit for them.
We have made this transition to protect the creativity and personal works of all members involved, as we never want anyone's work to be stolen or reused in any way. We are all very experienced writers who have (mostly all) been together for 10+ years and have decided to revive ROH simply to have a creative space to get together, laugh, and write our hearts out. Don't be alarmed, though. We do have very, very new members as well that joined us with our revival in 2022.
As a group, we are incredibly accepting and friendly, but very protective of this environment because it means the world to those of us who have been here. Our community on ROH is very personal and heartfelt, and we want anyone who joins to feel loved, accepted, and welcomed. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to pop in the C-box or join our discord server.
We understand that having the site private may drive some away, but that is also perfectly fine. We value our members to the absolute ends of the earth and would much rather protect those we have than desperately seek out and bend for others.
