*FOSTER ZACHARIA ATWOOD RESERVED Potential faces: Willem Dafoe (pictured), Kevin Bacon, Kurt Russel, Collin Farell, Michael Keaton - preferably an older male who shows his age. > Foster is the reason that the Cult of Nyctelios exists. A voracious fan of H.P. Lovecraft's work and slightly mentally unwell, Foster became absolutely obsessed and convinced that the "apocalypse" was occurring due to Cthulhu and the elder gods awakening. > He formed the cult at the beginning of the "apocalypse" in his home located somewhere in Europe. There used to be dozens more than the six apostles he has now, but many died either by sacrifice, the elements, or illness of some sort. > He convinced his followers to travel by foot to Greece, as their main god of focus, Nyctelios, is said to have been buried somewhere off the coast of Greece and should awaken with the end times. > Cannibalism became a prominent feature within the cult due to Foster's belief that by eating the flesh of others they would repel the "anti-christ" Olkoth from picking their bodies to possess if he so decided to return to Earth. They do eat each other when a follower dies if they are not ill (including miscarried or stillborn babies), but there is a preference for finding weak people and killing them for meat via a sacrificial offering to the old gods. > The sexual aspects of the cult were also Foster's decision. Foster breeds with the women of the following, sex amongst followers is not permitted and it is punishable by dishonorable death or body mutilation resulting in death (removal of the penis and barbed wire being inserted in the vagina). Foster believes and has convinced his followers that he is the only acceptable male to breed with because he has been chosen by the old gods - he demonstrates this through his abilities regularly. > As stated above, Foster is either a Demi-god or God. This is entirely up to you. He can be from a different pantheon, you do not have to pick from the Greek mythos (and it's encouraged to think outside of it). He abuses his abilities regularly and uses them to keep his followers fearful and submissive. CULT LEADER DEMI-GOD OR GOD MALE

*JAMES KEZIAH PEARSON Potential faces: Robert Pattinson (pictured), Adam Driver, Thomas Felton, Tom Hiddleston - preferably a gaunt-faced male who gives a brooding or "bored" demeanor. > Exclusively goes by his middle name, Keziah, and does not respond to James. > Keziah is relatively new to the cult, but he's deeply invested in being the golden boy of Foster. He does everything he is told without question - one would say he was quite susceptible to the cult brainwashing tactics for whatever reason. He was picked up in Rome, where he had been vacationing prior to the war beginning. He is American. > He is highly favoured by Foster because of his obedience, which leads to a lot of contention from the others - particularly the males, and specifically Rorik. The two get into altercations frequently, which delights Foster. > I picture him as being pretty... reserved and trying to stay to himself when not following the heels of Foster/his commands. Introverted to a fault, socially awkward and perhaps on the spectrum or had experienced religious-based abuse when he was a child (making Foster's tactics familiar and "normal" to him). > Extremely liked and mothered by Vivienne. *RORIK ASMUND GUSTAFSSON RESERVED Non-negotiable face: Alexander Skarsgard. > Rorik is Scandinavian, but he is fluent in both English and Parisian French. In his "previous" life he was a Zoologist and was the lead scientist for an independent study involving wolves and the weaponization of rabies. This is how he managed to become a werewolf, as he broke protocol and injected the compound into himself that they were manipulating. > Rorik is tied to Bogumil Krzysztof Domagalski and his brother Artur Kornel Domagalski. He was working alongside Artur in the lab, Artur has been offered the position due to some esteemed research papers he had published that focused on rabies and the possibility of weaponizing it via a liquid compound. They both illegally tested the compound they had been working on together - Rorik was a less "refined" version of it and thus he is more violent when he has shifted. > He joined the cult with his girlfriend, Juni, and regularly defies the sexual abstinence rule with her. He also regularly sleeps with Melinda, and the three commit such acts of defiance together. > He wants to sit as Foster's lead apostle and eventually take over the cult. He believes that he is the one true male of the group and who Nyctelios would truly respect due to his brute force and clear dominant demeanor. APOSTLE CREATURE MALE

*JUNI SOLVEIG EKLUND RESERVED Non-negotiable face: Anya Taylor-Joy. > Juni is Scandinavian and came here with her boyfriend Rorik. She is exceptionally younger than him and is prone to follow his lead without question. > She is deeply traumatized by her experience within the cult thus far, being a prime choice for "breeding" but always finding herself miscarrying and having to consume her stillborn daughter. She is basically in a catatonic state that the healer, Vivienne, has put her in by pumping her with unknown strains of herbs and pills they discover. > Juni ran away from home at a young age and was a sex worker at the age of sixteen. She met Rorik through her work, as he was a returning client, and he "rescued" her from the industry. > She fancies Keziah, but only as a friend. She finds him intriguing and they have shared some tender moments together. APOSTLE MORTAL FEMALE

*VIVIENNE NINETTE CURIE Potential faces: Tilda Swinton (pictured), Helena Bonham Carter, Toni Collette, Frances Conroy, Bonnie Aarons, Jessica Lange - must be an older woman with a "unique" face that is somewhat unsettling/unnerving. > Vivienne is one of the oldest remaining members of the cult, she joined at the beginning and helped collect new apostles. She is from France and was a practicing dark magick wiccan prior to joining the cult. > She is the healer of the cult and has extensive knowledge of herbal remedies and how to heal off of natural resources. She also uses dark magick practices to heal, unbeknownst to her she is actually a demi-god with real healing powers. Her father is the daemon, Soter. > She has her canine teeth shaven down to be pointed, like a vampire, and was drinking blood before joining the cult. She did this herself using a drill and sandpaper. > Vivienne is heavily drawn to Keziah for some reason, she also is madly obsessed with Foster and truly believes he is a true divine being sent from the other realm. Unfortunately for the women, she is quite misogynistic and looks down on all the women apostles, treating them poorly and being quite wicked when Foster is not looking. She is particularly cruel to Melinda. HEALER DEMI-GOD FEMALE

*SAOIRSE EIMEAR BELL Potential faces: Lorde (pictured), Polly Ellens, King Princess (Mikaela Mullaney Straus), Alessia Cara, Noah Cyrus - preferably a singer with an unconventional facial structure and/or unique markings. > Her name is pronounced as ser-sha, ee-mur, bell. She is of Irish and Scottish descent and grew up in either Ireland or Scotland. > Saoirse is a selkie, which is closely related to the mermaid/siren but has some small differences. She is ancient. > She was captured by Skotadi and was a part of his demented little stable of "freaks" for a significant amount of time. She only recently escaped when the war began and stumbled across the cult, but she feels the safest with them as they are "off the radar" for the majority of the pantheon (since they're rogues outside of the encampment). > The cannibalistic nature of the cult does not bother her since this was part of her diet already. Other aspects of the cult certainly disturb her, but they are not completely unnerving since she has been around for so long and has seen plenty of "disturbing" practices. > Saoirse has been anointed as the "caller" of the cult. Basically, she sings and leads most rituals with her singing voice while the others chant and perform the ritual itself. She is untouchable by all, even Foster, because it is believed the sanctity of her voice's power would be "tainted" if she were to be impregnated. > She's obviously not fully invested in the cult's beliefs but goes along with them to keep herself safe from Skotadi and his henchmen. She did make friends in the stables of Skotadi and has intentions of reconnecting with them if possible. CALLER CREATURE FEMALE
